Preliminary Evaluation

Our preliminary exercise turned out ok, although its not without problems, looking at the complete video it flows pretty smoothly although some of the cuts in the talking scene are a bit fast. Other than that the cuts and fades blend the footage well together.

There are a few errors within the final piece itself such as at 0:17 where Laura appears to stutter backwards. A major problem I find is the sporadic change in lighting, it seems to change between shots in the dialogue scenes, also from the hallway to when she enters the room. Another issue I found that I can work around next time is the audio quality, this is more to do with the equipment and so will be solved by using better mics in the final piece. This wasn't helped by the mumbled dialogue but we can learn from that and adjust when we film the main thing.

From class feedback we found at the start the camera was a little shacky which is a good criticism that we will have to watch in the future.

Overall it works well but still has a few kinks to iron out with practise we can solve them in future productions.
