The Editing is something I have taken to doing, this is as stated before because I have past experience in editing video and infact run a site that has me producing reviews for game and film reviews. I have recently become more adept at adding effects and titles to my products and look forward to editing together the footage I have into something that hopefully is worth while. I don't want to let my group down in that regard as they are counting on me, not to say that they didn't help I have been conversing with them on title choices and editing decisions as well as the overall look I am going to apply to the footage.
Below is an example of work I have done before for the site I help run You-Posted.com

Our group agreed that having a logo in the centre of the screen with a black background would look best for our production companies logo. However my group struggled to come up with a name and as such I came up with the name Hellsing Entertainment, this came from my a tried and true method of a randomly selecting a word. I just used a random word generator and after a couple of clicks came across the word Hellsing which I found suitable since it comes from Bram Stockers character of Van Hellsing which I had been reading at the time. This is what made me go for a more gothic style for the font.

When researching production logos this is one that inspired my overall design, the black background with contrasting colours and a logo or symbol of some kind is what I aimed to create with my production logo
The S eye was something my friend who is a graphic designer came up with for me, he takes the credit for this logo as I have no skill in photoshop at all. I felt connecting the blood drop with our entertainment made it look much more proffesional and sleaker overall.

With both our indoor and outdoor filming complete now just comes the job of editing it all together which comes down to me due to myself having past experience in producing videos. I also have some experience using effects to improve videos and make them diverse and interesting.
To create the effect we wanted however it involved some practical elements as well, including blacking out the room and removing all modern day items e.g electronics, bags. We also incorporated the use of a bright lamp to create Low-Key Lighting. This created a dark and forboding mood and highlights the darkness in key areas, such as on the murderer.
We also had to film a number of extra scenes outside to compensate for our lack of shots I had to work with. We re did a few of the shots we had of the camera running parallel to the feet walking. But we decided a few other angles would fit nicely to break up the pattern and add some diversity to the opening.
One of these shots was a POV from Lauras perspective, showing he feet from above as she walked. Another was a canted shot of the feet moving away from the camera which helped show that she was actually moving towards somewhere passed the camera. One of the important shots we also did was of her from the waste up moving pasted the camera and a brisk pace.

We got the outdoor filming done before I left on holiday, we took multiples of the same shot, ensuring that we had enough footage to edit with. We also took numerous shots on different backgrounds to allow us some freedom when picking shots.
We also managed to use George's skateboard as a make shift trolly but the camera had a tendancy to move with every bump in the path, so we had to taped it down which reduced the movement considerable. Through the magic of Affter Effects I should be able to transform our footage into a proper film noir setting.
